Practitioner-led training · Four courses
Build the judgement to carry the system.
Four courses for the people who own the decisions — architecture, AI-native platforms, corporate modernisation, and software delivery. Built from work that shipped. Taught personally by Praveen VR.

“I teach the decisions I have had to defend.”

Where the work was learned
The work has changed
AI can produce the ticket. It cannot own the decision.
The routine parts of software are getting cheaper. What remains is judgement: where the boundaries go, what data belongs to whom, which risk you accept, and how you bring a team with you.
That is the work these courses are built around. Not more information. A better command of the decisions that hold a system together.
1
Architecture as a decision practice
Boundaries, tenancy, contracts, trade-offs, and the review that makes them stick.
2
AI delivery with guardrails
Where agents belong, how they earn trust, and what stays human in the loop.
3
Leadership you can rehearse
The language, artifacts, and judgement to bring a room of engineers with you.
Courses
Four courses. One standard.
Choose by the decision in front of you, not by a job title. Every course is capped small, taught personally, and built around an artifact you can defend.

Ask for a recommendationInside the room
A working session, not a lecture.
You bring a real decision. We work it in the open, then you defend it. The room is small on purpose — so the feedback is specific and the work is yours.

A system map on the screen, a team around the table
Bring the real decision
A system, a team, a constraint you are actually carrying. Not a toy brief or a generic case.
Work it in the open
We map the boundaries, name the trade-offs, and build the artifact together, session by session.
Defend it
A review board, a promotion panel, a room of peers. You learn to explain the why, not just the diagram.
Take it back
Leave with a template, a plan, and the language to land the decision in your own organisation.
“The work is technical. The growth is human.”
The principle behind every Bootstack cohort
Proof
Every pattern is traceable.
The frameworks in the curriculum come from systems that had to run in production. Real constraints, real operators, real consequences.

Training, not theatre.
No fake dashboards, no invented case studies. The work is drawn from systems with operators and consequences.
Artifacts you can use.
Decision records, boundary maps, review agendas, and a capstone that can go into a real conversation.

The instructor
Taught by someone who still builds.
Praveen VR is a principal engineer, founder, and active builder. He spent 15+ years across Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent R&D, Dell Technologies, Moonhive, and Neonbee AI. He teaches the decisions he has had to defend.
“Senior engineers do not get stuck on syntax. They get stuck because no one taught them how to make a high-stakes decision — and stand behind it.”

Questions
Before you apply.
If the answer you need is not here, send a note through the application form. We will give you a straight answer, not a sales sequence.
Ask a direct questionWhat makes Bootstack different from a generic course?
Every course is built from systems that had to run in production, and every session is taught personally by Praveen VR. You work on decisions and artifacts, not passive slide decks. There are no teaching assistants, no outsourced mentors, and no done-for-you consulting.
Who are the courses for?
Senior engineers and tech leads moving into architecture or staff roles; platform engineers building multi-tenant systems; engineering teams modernising a real platform; and founders or core teams installing an AI-native delivery system. Each course page sets out who it is for — and who it is not for.
Is this training or consulting?
Training only. We do not audit code, review pull requests, access repositories, sign NDAs, or implement the work for you. You learn the pattern and build the artifact; your team keeps ownership.
Can my employer cover the cost?
Many participants use a learning and development budget. We provide a syllabus, an itemised invoice, and an employer sponsorship brief you can send to your manager. Corporate programs are quoted per team.
Who leads the sessions?
Praveen VR leads every session personally. He is a principal engineer and active builder with 15+ years across Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent R&D, Dell Technologies, Moonhive, and Neonbee AI.
